Ciudad Bolivar

180.000 pesos colombianos
Carrera 3 # 12-42

Descripción del servicio

El Paraíso sits high above Bogotá’s city center. It’s a neighborhood where people work hard every day just to take care of their families—putting food on the table, sending their kids to school, and making ends meet. For a long time, getting to work meant spending hours stuck in traffic, especially for those with jobs in the north or center of the city. That changed when the city built a cable car. Now, what used to be a two-hour commute takes just 20 minutes—and the ride comes with some pretty amazing views. You’ll meet your English-speaking guide in La Candelaria, where the tour begins. From there, you’ll bike to Portal Tunal for 15 km, then after parking the bikes will get on the cable car and head up into the hills. Along the way, you’ll get to: - Take in incredible views of Bogotá from above - Meet a local tour guide from Paraiso neighborhood - Walk through El Paraíso and hear real stories from the people who live there - See colorful street art and graffiti that reflect the community’s voice - Meet locals, learn about their lives, and share a few laughs - Enjoy a homemade lunch at local restaurant (10.000 lunch price) - Visit a small art gallery at Amigos del Turista - And stop at a viewpoint with one of the best panoramas of the city - Return to La Candelaria by bike (15 km) Notes: Prices can vary depending on how many people are in the group and the language of the tour. At the end, we kindly ask each person to show some love for the local guide’s time and effort with 50,000.
